Learning Classical Guitar

Classical Guitar Course

We focus mainly on the syllabus that leads to the London College of Music Examinations (LCME) from University of West London Examinations. The LCME in classical guitar is accredited by Ofqual, which serves as a UK governmental stamp of approval and quality assurance, confirming parity of standards with other similar awarding bodies.

The LCME is also accredited by the corresponding authorities in Wales (DfES) and Northern Ireland (CCEA). They have been placed on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) at Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Our classical guitar teaching syllabus aims to fully align with the LCME from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Students can take the LCME if they wish to and usually the aim of the syllabus is to provide a well defined path for students who wish to progress from Grade 1 to Grade 8 in the LCM classical guitar examinations. For those who do not intend to take an examination, the syllabus also provide a structured and comprehensive path for the learning of the classical guitar.
